About Me

My name is Cory. I am a mom, a wife, a NaNa, and a critical care nurse that lives in Nashville, TN. I have found my calling in ER/Trauma/ICU. Each day I find myself experiencing life changing events and hope that by reading my posts, you will experience and feel some of what I do. If you read nothing else, please take time to read "The Hardest Question Ever Asked". It's my very first posting. And if for some reason you think you see your story don't. It's not about you or anyone you know. =)

Breast Cancer Awareness - Pink Glove Boogie

Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon put this video together to
raise breast cancer awareness and it's so cool that they included everyone in it! Had to share it! Love the janitor at the end! (His mother actually died of breast cancer.)

awww i loved it!! i started crying, LMFAO IM EMOTIONAL, because it was sooooo cute!! it reminded me of those snuggie commercials, you know the part when their raising the roof hahaha.. amazing!
Silly girl, this wasn't the one but I'm glad it made you smile. I cried too. What an amazing thing to do.
Very cool! I used to work at St V's about 8 years ago. It was nice to see a familiar place again.
everytime i'm sad this video cheers me up!! i love it! && the OR nurses && doctors are the funnest!! =)
cory, u dont know me. All you hear is what Jim has said and posted. I have done some wrong things but he has also. he wont say that. Like continuing to tell me he is hooked on me and wants our life back. As an Rn, u shouldnt always judge. there are two sides to a story. My son is great with me and i am a wonderful mom to my other 4 kids. so u may want to assess the whole situation before making a diagnosis.

Dear Nurse L -
You're right, I don't know you and I have no idea who Jim is. Are you sure you aren't getting me confused with someone else? Please enlighten me.
Just wanted to say that I'm glad to see someone else promoting this video. I have a friend who is an RN in that particular hospital system (at their other location), and I've tried to spread that vid as best as I can. It just made me happy to see someone else that was aware of it.
